One of Septempontia's traditional lands, Rosemarcos is ruled by the Warden of the Rose Marches. The first and current Marchwarden is HH Carrie, Duchess of Fox Chapel.
Name
Rosemarcos contains the counties of Lancaster and York, whose namesake families famously used roses as their symbols. Placed on the southern border of the Empire, it is a "march" or, in Old Triparik, marco. Its name thus translates as "rose-borderland".
