The Electorate of Kalmont is one of the lands of Septempontia. It has an unusual form of government under an Elector or Electress, presently the Electress Gracie.
In the hearts of many Septempontians from other Lands, Kalmont is second only to their home Land, because the original Seven Tunnels of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, most notably the Lost Tunnels, are to be found there.
Name
Kalmont's name comes from Triparic and Latin words for the mountain laurel flower, Kalmia latifolia, and for mountains themselves.
Arms
The arms of Kalmont are intended to represent a crossroads, the highways of the land being some of its most prominent features, through a field of mountain laurels.
