A province is a land of Septempontia which lacks a constitution and government of its own.

Provinces hold no votes in the Landsrið, and are governed directly by Imperial law. Imperial citizens may take up legal residency in the Provinces if they wish.

Provinces become States upon a supermajority of the Landsrið approving a proposed constitution and list of citizens for them.
